Large Language Model

This is the most common form of ‘AI’ that most people will come across, and many will have heard of ChatGPT, but there are others such as Microsoft/Bing Copilot which uses a Text to Image processor called DALL-E 3, which can take a text prompt and create images from it.

For example the Web Site Background and Header Image were generated using Copilot.

For those that want to try it out, go to ChatGPT and sign up. It is free and only requires an email address to Log in with.

You then give it prompts or questions on anything you want, and ChatGPT will try and give you a response. Be prepared to be surprised how good it can be.

ChatGPT (free) does not do Text to Image production. For that you need other services such as Copilot from Microsoft. It is built into and works best in Windows 11, and a Microsoft 365 Account offers more capability with Edge/Bing Copilot. Most Windows 10 systems will have it but with more limited functionality.

There are other offerings and many of them are free though often limited, with the full range available with subscriptions. I will take a look at some of these as well, but only the free versions for now.
