
You now need Voter ID. There are a range of ID’s which are acceptable, but if you do not have one then you can apply for a Voter Authority Certificate which can be obtained from your Electoral Registration Office, and online via the Government Web Site.
If you do not vote then you should. As Plato remarked “The price good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men”.
Postal Voting needs setting up with the Electoral Registration Office, and is very convenient. I will always Vote by Post now.
And don’t ignore it. You may think it is a waste of time and it makes no differences. They are all the same. If that is your position then spoil your Ballot Paper. They get counted too! If you don’t go then it can’t be counted.
