Step 1: Electoral Roll

Are you on the Electoral Roll?	Yes.	Go to Step 2.
	No.	Register to vote, or contact the Electoral Registration Office.
	Don’t know.	Contact the Electoral Registration Office.

Do you have valid ID?	Yes.	Go to Step 3.
	No.	Contact the Electoral Registration Office. You will need a Voter Authority Certificate to vote in person. There may be other requirements for postal voting.
	Don’t know.	Check this List or Contact the Electoral Registration Office.

In person	Wait for information on when and where to vote. You should get this automatically.	Make sure you take your valid ID with you when you vote. Job done.
By Post	You will need to set this up with your Electoral Registration Office first, so do it sooner rather than later.	Apply for a Postal Vote. Once you have done this, the rest will be done by post.
